A prenuptial agreement is a legal document that outlines which belongings including investments, business assets, or family inheritances (to name a few) go to whom if the marriage fails. Basically saying if the marriage fails, what you owned before the marriage to returned to you. Nobody likes to think of their marriage falling apart, but sometimes it does. Having a prenuptial agreement in place may help you protect your personal possessions. These agreements are more popular then you can imagine.
